Christmas Break and First Two Weeks of School!

Well, Sean and I have been back for about two weeks now from our long and much needed Christmas Break. We had such a great time in California! First, We stopped at my house in Utah to say Merry Christmas and pick up some presents.

Then we drove to Rancho...well, first we had a set back! We had great weather All the way from Rexburg and throughout Utah but once we hit Las Vegas it started to snow and people who had never seen the white evil started to go crazy! The traffic was terrible and they ended up closing the road to LA. Where did we spend the night??? Yup, in a wonderful, smoke-filled casino by the state line. In the morning we sat in a traffic line for about an hour and a half until they opened the road.

When we finally got to Sean's parents house, we had a wonderful time. The house we decorated beautifully for Christmas. We went shopping, wrapped presents, relaxed, and went sailing. We had such a great time relaxing with his family and enjoying their company! This is us opening our festive PJ's on Christmas Eve. And, YES, all the kids slept in the same room while Santa left us presents! Just like the old days.

We took my family out sailing and they had a blast! My little sister Chelsey did much better steering the boat than I did my first time!

The night before we left, we got to go to SUPERCROSS! It was a great race to watch. My favorite rider, James Stewart, crashed out which caused OH SO MUCH drama! I am a huge fan now and I follow it every week. I almost met Andrew Short, a rider for Honda. Well, I really just took his picture...
Student teaching is going well. I am now in charge of all the morning routines and the math lessons! First graders keep me on my toes but I am having a good time. Sean has some great web designing classes and other business classes. He is doing great!

We finally finished unpacking into our new apartment. It is a small, one bedroom apartment that is just our size.
