I have some exciting news that I just couldn't keep to myself. As many of you know I only have one more week of classes to finish up my Bachelor's degree. The only thing I have left to do is student teach starting after Christmas.
(Now the good news...)I just found out that I will student teaching fifteen minutes away in a first grade class. The close proximity isn't even the best part. The cooperating teacher I will be working with is having a baby. She wants me to take over her class and become the permanent substitute until the end of the school year!
This is such a blessing. Sean will be in school for a couple more years so if I can get a teaching job, this will be perfect! A permanent sub will be a great start for me and will help me get a real teaching job in the fall!
