Sean and I have been in school for a month now. Crazy how time flies. I still can't believe that I graduate in about two months. Student teaching is a blast. This week I am teaching the whole day except one hour. The class has really started to respect me as their teacher and my cooperating teacher thinks that I am going great. The other day I had a boy stick his tongue at me during math. AHHH! That is the one thing that I have a hard time with. DISCIPLINE. I think when I have my own classroom it might be a little easier. I have learned so much about teaching already in one month. I can't wait to see what happens over the next two.
Even though I love these kids, they have gotten me sick. The past couple nights have been terrible. Sore throat, head aches, coughing, runny nose. So far, Sean hasn't gotten it yet.
Yesterday I got to go to a baby shower. The girl I carpool with the school is due this next week and she invited me to Johnny Carino's (an italian resturant) for her shower. We had a really yummy lunch and beautiful cakes. I got her some cute baby boy clothes and some new born diapers. I had fun hearing all about babies and the fun that comes with motherhood.
Last night we also went out with Braden and Talicia to a Mexican restaurant. It was actually the same place that Sean took me on our first date.
TWINKLE TWINKLE...I can still remember the conversation, the food, playing basketball with gum balls, the "I can't believe I'm on a date with this amazing guy." TWINKLE TWINKLE
That is one thing that I still love about living in Rexburg. Sean and I have so many fun memories here from when we were dating. Well, happy February everyone! Be happy that you are not as cold as we are!
I am so glad that you guys are doing so good!!!
ReplyDeleteKevin and I met in Rexburg and we too loved it there after we were married. We always had so much fun!
Good luck with teaching...I hope you won't get sick anymore! that is the hard part. Emergen-C packets and lots of hand washing! Good luck!
