General Conference

This has been a very uplifting week.  I started in Jacob so I could read along with you. I just finished Jacob 6, so. I only averaged a chapter a day, but it's a good start. I loved a lot of it. 

I love how he says in Jacob 2:28 that God delights in the chastity of women! 

Also Jacob 3:10 "Wherefore, ye shall remember your children how that ye have grieved their hearts because of the example that ye have set before them; and also, remember that ye may, because of your filthiness, bring your children unto destruction, and their sins be heaped upon your heads at the last day."  This scripture warns me to be the best example I can be to my children. I need to teach them about Christ and the gospel and live it on a daily basis. I need to show love in every action. Discipline with love! Play with love. Even teach with love. Ive been trying to be a kinder, loving mother this week.

General Conference was amazing. I feel refreshed in my attempts to live better, be obedient, be a better mother and have a better marriage through keeping the commandments! Wasn't Elder Hollands talk about New and partial faith great! We just need to believe! That is a good enough start!!!
