Still here!

I finally am motivated to start blogging again. I think it is important for me to journal about my life, and this helps me stay motivated.

Well, we are now living in California. We live in an apartment in Santa Clarita. Sean works for a hospital in Hollywood, so he commutes about thirty miles there and thirty back. He is working in the IT department, and he really enjoys his job. Kenize seems to really like our apartment. It has two floors, and sh had her own pretty pink room.

McKenzie...she is doing great! We just went in for a well check up. She is 35 inches tall! Which is in the 99 percentile!!! Such a tall beauty! She weighs 27 lbs, (75 percentile). She is getting a lot more hair and it is kind of unmanageable because she hates headbands and bows. I try to keep it in a ponytail, but her hair is so short that im worried they hurt her. But if I just leave her hair plain, it looks messy! I cant wait till it grows a little more so I can start my famous up-dos!

Kenzie loves, loves, loves to be outside! Her favorite thing is when Sean gets home from work and they go "work" in the garage together! She fixes the bikes and who knows what else done there! She could spend all day at the park. She is getting really good and climbing, so she can pretty much play on the park equipment all by herself. She is such a sweetheart. She love cuddling with Sean and me. Her favorite is family hugs and kisses, with both of us at the same time. She also loves to make mommy and daddy kiss...I guess she finds it funny (and I don't object!)

Movies are also her favorite. She loves 3d movies like anything Pixar! Tangled, Toy story, Curious George and Gnomeo and Juliet are here fav.! Its nice to have her watch a movie so I can get things done around the house.

Sleep is going very well. Every since we sleep trained, so has been sleeping pretty well. Right now she goes to bed at 8 and wakes up about 8. I have loved sleeping in!!! Who knows how long this will last. For a while she was waking at 6, so 8 is heaven! I could say a lot about my little sweety. She is a little behind in her speech. She doesn't really communicate with words yet, just pointing, gestures and grunts. She has said about 5 words, but doesn't use them regularly. The doctor told us to speak slowly to her and let her see our lips. Hopefully in a few months she'll be better. She understands everything we say and will follow commands very well, so we aren't really worried about her.
