Halloween and Birthday Celebration

We had a really fun week. Halloween happens to be my favorite holiday so I couldn't be more happy this week. Also, Sean's birthday was on Friday, which is (of course) his favorite holiday. To start off the party, my cousin Lisa threw a Halloween party at a church near her home. She invited all her family plus tons of her friends. She decorated the cultural hall in amazing spooky decor and everyone dressed up. Kenzie dressed up as a giraffe, Sean as a Ninja and I Ginny Weasley. We had fun talking and dancing with the family. It was fun to see my grandparents dress up!

Next, we had a blast carving pumpkins together! We all picked out our favorite one and had a blast creating our masterpieces. They all turned out great.
For Sean's birthday, he went hunting and shot a couple of pheasants. After he came home we celebrated with cupcakes and a scary movie called 1408. If you haven't seen it...it is really good for Halloween!

For Halloween day we went down to Utah to have a party with my family. Almost everyone dressed up.
Sherry and Paul waited for the party to surprise us about the genders of their babies. Can you guess what they are having?
Mckenzie looked so cute and cuddly in her lady bug costume.
My mom the witch and Chelsey AKA Dorothy!
My sister Andrea wins the prize for most creative. She was the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. She whipped out that costume in ten minutes...how creative.
Katrina helped do my hair for my I love Lucy costume. She was Barbie!
Doug and Steph showed up as a double rainbow! (If you haven't seen the double rainbow video...quick run over to youtube!)
Grandpa Pharaoh and Kenzie
Sean without a costume. ;(
Babies playing on the floor
Sam, Andrea and her girls the mermaid and scary witch!
Jen, Matt and Garrett were 80's workout instructors. They were hilarious in there too short shorts and too tight tights!

We had fun trick or treating in the rain and enjoying everyone's company. I can't for Halloween next year!

  1. LOVE the pics! Glad sean didn't dress up too or we would have looked really dumb with just our bibs on. Love you!
