 Two Weeks

First Two weeks with Kyle were tough!!! He has no form of schedule at all. He would wake up at night and be wide awake. He would sleep all day long. It was so hard getting so little sleep! On the plus side, he was a great breastfeeder from the start. No problems there! He could even nurse in bed from birth, so I would sleep with him in bed at night to try and get SOME sleep. He was slightly jaundice. By a couple days old he was VERY orange. I had to take him to get him blood checked twice to see if his levels were going down. Its so hard to see your newborn being poked. :( (Those poor, poor mommies in the NICU) His levels were slowly going down, so we never had to bring him to the hospital to put him under the lights. He loved a binky, loved being swaddled, and could pass out with those to things almost instantly. Unless it was time for ME to sleep, of course.
