It has been a while since Kenzie has slept through the night. I don't know why she still wakes up once or twice a night. She does well once in a while, but has fallen back into a bad pattern. Sean thinks the front of her bottom gums look slightly swollen, so I gave her medicine tonight. Hopefully that will help. Tonight, she was asleep by ten. Please sleep tonight!
Tonight we went to the Rexburg Mall (Walmart) for some cleaning supplies and groceries. As we walked in I heard the words, "Puppies" and quickly backed up. Outside the doors were four, beautiful doggies. Collie - Black Lab mix. Kenzie wouldn't touch them, but I couldn't stop. The fact that they were free and that we are moving out of apartments soon made me want to take one and run. "Maybe my mom would let us keep it at her house until we get a house or a pet friendly apartment???" My dreams were squashed when reality hit in. I can't even get my baby to sleep through the night...do I really need the stress of a puppy? Sean said he would get up during the night and help the puppy. HA! Yeah Right! (Note: he has gotten up for his daughter a total of two times in seven months!) I can't wait for the day when we have a house and backyard...that is all I want to Christmas. Santa, are you reading this?
