Sean and I went in (again) for the baby's ultrasound. We were so excited to find out what we were having. The technician took a long time looking at all of the body parts. It was really cool to see the heart beat and the baby's face. The tech had a really hard time getting a picture of the baby's skull. They need that picture so they can tell how far along the baby is. She tried to get a good angle for about five minutes...which included her putting all of her weight on me, pushing as hard a possible in one spot. The baby was stubborn and never let her get a good picture. So...guess who gets to go in again for another ultrasound?
The baby still had its legs together, so we left thinking that we still didn't know what the baby was. When we got home, the office called and said that she forgot to look at something important and that I needed to come back in. When she was done with that, she looked again for the gender. We got a really good shot that IT WAS A GIRL. She said that she was still not 100 percent that it was a girl, but it sure looks like it.We are so blessed that our baby is healthy!
Love, Stacey
