An Adventurous Weekend

Happy President's Day Everyone. Sean is away taking a test so I thought I would write a little bit about our fun weekend! Friday I got to celebrate Valentine's Day with my first graders. Holidays are much more fun when you are seven! I hand wrote a note to each student and gave them either a yo-yo or a butterfly hair clip. We had fun playing games and getting full of sugar. When I got home, Sean came in with a BEAUTIFUL pot of red tulips! I love them so much. Much better then roses because they will stay alive for a few months (I hope!)

The next morning my dad came into town and we drove a half hour to Ashton and went fly fishing! Sean had never gone before so it was really fun. We had on waiters and boots and stood out in the middle of the river. It was really warm at the beginning but by the end of the day we were FROZEN! My dad caught one big rainbow trout and Sean and I caught ZERO. That's okay...we will get better.

Sunday we got to go to Trevor's (my cousin's) farewell. He did a great job speaking and will make a wonderul missionary. He is going to N. Carolina and leaves to the MTC today. GOOG LUCK TREVOR! We got to go to his house afterwards where we enjoyed a yummy potato bar and got to talk with some fun cousins! LOVE YOU GUYS!

That night Braden and Talicia came over to play games. We started making plans for Monday since their was no school and decided on SNOWMOBILING! We drove down to Talicia's parent's house and watched a great movie called FIREPROOF (YOU HAVE TO SEE IT!) and had a sleep over. We woke up the next day and Talicia's dad took us to a great place to go snowmobiling. Sean had never been on one before but he quickly got used to it and was climbing up steep hills in no time. I warmed up to it slowly and went up a few really fun hills. We had a great time going 65 on those machines!

After snowmobiling we went out to dinner and Sean and I had ribs. It was my first time ever having them. THEY ARE GREAT! I'm so brave for trying new food! ;) JK!

Well, that was our long, relaxing and adventurous weekend!
